Most of being a DJ will center around your music but you’ve also got to worry about your image. It’s important to realise that music is a business and as an artist you literally are the product. You’ve got to market yourself in a way that appeals to the masses. Come up with something that is unmistakably yours, along the lines of the Deadmau5 mouse head.
To be the best, you are going to have to be the full package. You’ve got to look good, sound good and have a charismatic stage presence. It’s your duty to entertain. You are the master of ceremonies. Make sure to get every last person out onto the dance floor and you’ll be on your way to earning a spot in the DJing hall of fame.
